Welcome to the 21st annual Runnin' of the Green! While Johnny's Irish Pub is no longer the official sponsor, the race will still serve as the start of the Rochester road racing season! The race course is fast, starting at the Blue Cross Arena and running out and back along the Genesee River.

About the event
With winter winding down and spring on the horizon, that means it's time for our annual Runnin' of the Green 5 mile race, starting downtown at the Blue Cross Arena. This is our 21st annual race on our certified 5 Mile course.
This year we are adding a 1-Mile Competitive race option for runners!
Register early for $25. The price increases to $30 online for 3/13, 3/14, and 3/15.
Runners that don't wish to register online may register in person at Rochester Running Co. Runners can register on race day in person at the Blue Cross Arena from 7 am to 9:15 am for $35.
Training programs are available for both the 5 Mile race and 1 Mile. Registration will open on Wednesday, 1/17 at Rochester Running Company and your local YMCA locations at rochesterymca.org.
Packet Pickup will be at the race expo at Rochester Running Co on 3/13, 3/14 and 3/15 10 am - 7 pm and at Blue Cross Arena on race day 7 am - 9:15 am.
Prize money for male and female winners:
1st place: $500
2nd place: $250
3rd place: $100
